Update 1.4.17d released

Hi,
can you check the server status window after browsing. Maybe enable debug logging. Curious what goes wrong. 55k patients is a lot but it should not take 5 minutes to extract.

Hi
well yea it doesn't really takes 5 min to extract, but it mostly happens when many conquest clients trying to access main server trough network at the same time. I did enabled debugging level 4 so hopefully I'll be able to replicated that on Monday. -
Hi Marcel,
I have as well the image-number and date problem - can you give me a hint were to fix?

Hi Hans-Peter,
I put the remark in the buglist, lets see if it easily fixed; you fix is a bit rigorous it might hide real other issues in the same patient.

Hi Marcel,
I have really been waiting for next release of Conquest because of this feature:
38 ) forward compressed as XXnn does not keep the nn bit.
It has kept us from overhauling our system to give conquest a more central role.
Can this issue be sorted by way of a minor update.
Not sure if you can do this specifically to sort me out. We can discuss a small fee if necessary. If so, kindly contact me on emmukoya@gmail.com.
Regards.
Emmanuel.

Hi,
I am working towards a beta release. You can test it if you like?
Marcel
-
That would be great!
Where can I download it?
-
I have also managed to lay my hands on and am planning to test V 1.4.17 and 1.4.17c to see if it compresses OK respecting this rule of XXnn.
-
The forward as XXnn is still not working in Version 1.4.17.
Will wait for beta.
Thanks.

ps
does conquest support c-get ?
-
No, it does not.
Programming help would be appreciated - the new distribution I am preparing should be easier for to use for this.

Hi,
Have a look at 1.4.19alpha. It should be compileable under windows.
Marcel

Thanks Marcel!
Just downloaded it.
Will get back to you with any comments.
Regards.

The issue below seems to have been resolved in the 1.4.19 alpha release.
38 ) forward compressed as XXnn does not keep the nn bit.
Thanks Marcel!

Hi, I'm attempting to install 1417d on CentOS and am having some issues. Durring the install I had a couple issues.
1) when doing this step ::
cd jpeg-6c make the IJG library
./configure
sudo make
sudo make installI got the error saying
the directory didn't exist for /usr/local/man/man1/
So I created those directories
mkdir -p /usr/local/man/man1
2) when doing this step ::
./maklinux
I got an error saying
cp: target '/usr/lib/cgi-bin' is not a directory
What I noticed here is /usr/lib/cgi-bin did exist,
however as a file which included everything that the arcnema.map file would normally contain. So I deleted the file named rm -rf /usr/lib/cgi-bin and
then created that directory, mkdir /usr/lib/cgi-bin and
then I was able to run ./maklinux3) now the problem is I get an error when launching dgate ::
dgate -v -r
it says -bas: dgate: command not found
If I cd to /conquest, and then run the command with a ./ in front, I get another error (see attached image)
dictionary file ./dgate.dic is missing, some server functions will not work correctly
Regen Database
***Could not load kfactor file: ./.\dgate.sqlAny thoughts? Thanks. --Tim
