QuoteDisplay More
Hi Marcel,
Hoping you can help me with a puzzle. I'm trying to use CQ to:
1. Ingest a mammography study
2. Delete (empty) 0054,0222 and all its sub-tags.
(0054,0222) ViewAngulationModifierCode... SQ # 78 1
[
(0008,0100) CodeValue SH # 8 1 [R-102D5 ]
(0008,0102) CodingSchemeDesignator SH # 4 1 [SRT ]
(0008,0104) CodeMeaning LO # 18 1 [Implant Displaced ]
I'm using the importconverter to call the script:
function ImportConverter(script)
-- Delete the sequence tag (0054,0222)
script:DeleteElement(0054,0222)
end
It's working reliably for the 2D mamm images, but not the 3D. Any thoughts on how I could try this differently?

QuoteDisplay MoreHi,
the code for element deletion may be faulty for sequences.
I found these commands work to empty a (different) sequence:
Data.DeidentificationMethodCodeSequence=nil
Data.DeidentificationMethodCodeSequence={}
It is unclear to me why there would be difference between 2D and 3D mammo images though.

QuoteDeleteElement does not exist I think? There is DeleteFromSequence, or setting an element to nil.

you can download it in the download center https://forum.iq-image.com/filebase/index…er-en/#versions

Correct. K-PACS was a spare time project. iQ IMAGE took over the development as a joint project to make a medical device out of it. There has never been any more activity since version 1.6. iQ-VIEW as its medical device successor is still being developed and maintained actively.
-
The old K-PACS 1.6 is the latest version.
-
Okay, in that case please describe your problem to our support team directly at support@iq-image.com. Add the log file from C:\ProgramData\iQ-VIEW\Logs to fasten the process or any other available information you have or try to achieve.
-
Hi Brent,
if you bought an iQ-VIEW you should contact your vendor to solve such problems. If you have bought directly from IMAGE Information Systems, feel free to contact our service and support team.

Thanks for the guide on localizing K-PACS. But since K-PACS doesn’t support Unicode, translating to languages like Chinese or Cyrillic can be tricky. I found using tools like texthumanizer.ai helpful for text changes or trying iQ-VIEW as an alternative, as it supports Unicode. Do you think future updates could make it easier to use other languages?
There will be no future updates for K-PACS.

Hi, since you bought a professional product, you should contact IMAGE's support directly at "support@image-systems.biz" by mail.
-
Hello, since your question concerns iQ-WEBX, I suggest you to contact your vendor for proper first level support.

iQ-VIEW 4.0
Download the new version in our download center.
The official announcement on our website: https://image-systems.biz/news-events/de…leased-iq-view/
What’s new in iQ-VIEW 4.0?
SIGNIFICANT PERFORMANCE INCREASE:
- Speedy query/retrieve: Retrieve CT/MR studies from remote DICOM archives 2 - 3.5 times faster than before.
- Twice as fast local database searches: The new local SQLite database replaces the file-based system, improving data management and enabling new features like additional columns in the study browser.
- Advanced 64-bit architecture: Process and display large studies of virtually unlimited size and images even up to 500 megapixel resolution.
- Expanded image cache: Three times larger cache enhances image processing of large studies, such as real-time image magnification.
- Stable handling of large studies: Support for modern 64-bit email clients (e.g. Outlook, Microsoft 365) ensures reliable processing of very large studies.
AMAZING NEW FEATURES:
- Display of multiphase studies: Automatically split MR phases stored in multiphase objects and easily switch and compare phases. Create time intensity curves for selected phases (PRO version only).
- Improved structured reporting: Optimized report dialog supports different workflows. Choose between traditional or fast-track report approval methods, with essential patient and study information prominently displayed.
- Enhanced quality control and multisite management: New columns in the study browser show the institution names and number of files for better data management and quality control.
- Non-DICOM image export: Export non-DICOM images in full DICOM resolution without needing to zoom into specific areas.
- Consistent secondary viewer button functionality across network, database and filesystem tab, e.g. for mammography, simplified study retrieval, and automatic GDT call invocation make the work with iQ-VIEW even more efficient.
BETTER INTEGRATION:
- New command line parameters: Now supports patient ID, study instance UID and accession number for opening studies via command line call without GDT.
CYBER SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE:
- GDPR-compliant logging: Revised logging process ensures only patient ID, accession number, modality and body part are logged.
- MDR compliance: iQ-VIEW, along with iQ-ROUTER, complies as a component of iQ-SYSTEM PACS with the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745, ensuring high-quality standards and continued software distribution and development.

This problem has long been fixed in later iQ-VIEW versions. The width of the patient panel has dropped to zero. I cannot remember the specific component name in the iQ-VIEW.ini. Please contact support@image-systems.biz or use the web formular https://image-systems.biz/services/bug-r…eature-request/ for qualified support as a paying customer.
Deleting the iQ.VIEW.ini should also do the trick but than you will lose other settings as well.

Code
Hello! I'm new to PACS, so I apologize for any stupid questions. Our facility has a perpetual license for PACS-IQ-WEBX 10, PACS-IQ-4VIEW 20, PACS-IQ-WEBX-WADO, this was installed in 2019, unfortunately we were unable to purchase a system upgrade. Now we have been informed that updating the system will be more expensive than purchasing the same perpetual license again. So I have a question will we need to purchase renewals for the perpetual license every year? And what will happen to our new perpetual license if we are unable to purchase an upgrade again? I will be grateful for the answer!Hello Valentyn,
I forwarded your request to our sales team.
You could also use our contact form on the website https://image-systems.biz/company/contact/ -
any plans to release an iQ-VIEW 3.2 version in 2020? any preview of bug fixes and new features?
Hello ? we are waiting for MDR certification, so our hands are tied. We are planning a bigger new version in 2023. This will bring some enhancements that are long overdue.
-
Hello Sasko,
you can right-click on a study row in the study browser and use "Mark as read"/"Mark as unread" from the popup menu for that purpose.
All the best
Erik

What is the cost of purchasing the license for IQ-View PRO? For use on five workstations would it take five licenses? Thank you
Hi, our sales team will contact you soon.

adding more format is good but it would be a nice thing to let the user decide which one he really needs.
at least there should be an option to customize the order of the available formats so users who only have 2 different film sizes could put them on top instead of having to scroll trough a long list.
something like this is possible in the list of PACS nodes location; I can customize the list order by manually editing the proper .ini file
is there any .ini file I could tweak the film size order this way?
Unfortunately not but we have your feature request in our system. And we also have an idea how to accomplish this without too much effort.
New features come with a lot of documentation and validation overhead when developing medical devices so we cannot ship them in short cycles.
In the end I have to ask for your patience.
-
you should reconsider this...
64bit is the future... image data volume is always rising and sooner or later all 32bit DICOM viewers will become obsolete
Sure. It's not like we don't want it. Many dependencies make this a big challenge. Internal and external libraries need to be compiled with 64 bit, too. All those third party integrations have to work as well. Every vendor specific DICOM incompliance, that has been fixed, has to work on 64 bit as well.
Next year we will be working on some substantial improvements and we will also check how far we will come on the path to 64 bit.
Until iQ-VIEW 4.0 I hope our patches (like our current 3.1.2) will improve your current experience.
Kind regards
Erik
